Wyedale House, Ashford in the Water, built c1903. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 17 SE PARISH OF ASHFORD IN THE WATER LONGSTONE LANE 3/53 (West Side) Wyedale House II Cottage, extended and converted into part of educational establishment. c1903 and c1930s. Coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins. Continuous moulded hoodmould. Plain tile roofs. Stone ridge stacks to later addition. Central castellated octagonal stone stack to original building. Circular plan with northern extension. Single storey. Quoined doorcase to east. Two 3-light chamfered mullion windows, side lights canted. Above, three gabled dormers. Semi-circular headed windows. To rear, later wing with mullioned windows Round castellated section to extreme north. Listing NGR: SK1960471021.' (1)
