From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 24 SW PARISH OF YELDERSLEY PAINTER'S LANE 5/108 (South Side) Mile post at OS 212435 II Mile post. Early C19. Cast iron. Triangular in plan with sloping upper part, rising to back plate with curved top.
