Lower Barn, Mere Farm, Rakes Road, Monyash, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 16 NW PARISH OF MONYASH RAKES ROAD 5/151 (West Side) 12.7.1967 Mere Farmhouse and outbuilding GV II Farmhouse and outbuilding. Late C18. Coursed limestone with painted dressings. Modern concrete tile roof with stone ridge. Stone gable end and ridge stacks. Two storeys, two bays. Central flush doorcase with four-centred arched top. C20 canopy and glazed door. To either side, 2-light flush mullion windows. Two similar above. Outbuilding attached to south, with blank wall. Listing NGR: SK1496966428.' (1)
