Full Description

Boundary walls of St Peter's Church, Church Street, Netherseal, a late 18th and late 19th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 21 SE PARISH OF NETHERSEAL CHURCH STREET 5/27 (North Side) Churchyard Walls and Attached Garden Wall to Cheshire Home GV II Churchyard walls and attached garden walls. Late C18 and late C19 with minor later repairs. Red brick with stone dressings and rock faced stone. Churchyard retaining walls are of stone with chamfered stone copings and run round three sides of the churchyard to the south side. To east side there are steps up to a gate with simple metal overthrow on wooden posts and to west side there are a pair of carved wooden gate piers, also with simple metal overthrow. Red brick garden walls attached to west are about 10 feet high and run westward before turning north for about 30 metres. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2876312874.' (1)
