Nos. 1-4 Stable Mews, Wingfield Hall, South Wingfield, a late 18th century building.

'SK 37 55 PARISH OF SOUTH WINGFIELD GARNER LANE (off) 5/90 13-2-67 Stable block at Wingfield Hall GV II
Former stables, now kennels and store. Late C18. Regularly coursed squared coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, on a plain plinth with quoins, moulded eaves cornice, hipped and pyramidal slated roofs. Symmetrical elevations, seven bays, 3.1.3, with advanced tower to centre. North elevation, two storeys, south elevation three storeys, with tower rising a further storey. North elevation: seven doorways with recesses and semi-circular recesses. Arches spring from continuous band course which also acts as a lintel to each doorway. Overlights with curved 'V' glazing bar pattern. Moulded cornice continues as flat band course across the face of tower. First floor with nine pane glazing bar sashes, except at east end which has a C20 casement. Lintels channelled in imitation of voussoirs. Stone stairway against east gable, carriage arch in west gable with depressed elliptical arch and planked doors. South elevation has basement with segmental arches to openings, semi-circular heads to first floor openings and shallow segmental heads to second floor openings.
