PARISH OF SOUTH WINGFIELD MANOR ROAD (West Side) The Manor
(Formerly listed as The Manor Hotel)

Public house at time of listing. Mid C18. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, coped gables, end brick ridge stacks and welsh slated roof. 'L' plan, with lower two storey range extending westwards at south end, and an added lower bay to the north gable.
Main range; three storeys, two bays with stacked two-light flush mullioned windows with C20 pivot windows or fixed lights. Louvred shutters to ground floor openings. Central doorway with painted quoined surround and shallow bracketed hood supporting a carved stone lion.
Lower bay with single two-light flush mullioned window, louvred shutters and painted quoins. Lower two storey range to rear, with C20 frames to openings on south wall, but retaining C18 flush mullioned windows to the north wall.
