Gate piers and stile, St Peter's Church, Castleton Road, Hope, an 18th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 2 September 2022 to correct a typo in the description and to reformat the text to current standards SK 18 SE 7/72 PARISH OF HOPE CASTLETON ROAD (South Side) Gatepiers to St Peter's Churchyard GV II Gatepiers amd attached squeezer stile. C18. Gritstone ashlar. The gatepiers are square in plan with moulded caps surmounted by acorn finials. Attached to the west a squeezer stile of two slabs of gritstone, the upper parts cut away. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK1723383498.' (1)
