War memorial, Castleton Road, Hope, erected c1920. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 18 SE PARISH OF HOPE CASTLETON ROAD 7/75 (North Side) War Memorial II GV War memorial. c1920. Gritstone ashlar and rock faced gritstone. Cenotaph raised on two stone steps. Name panels on each face. South face inscribed PRO PATRIA with cornice and wreath above. Set within a raised enclosure with low rock faced walls and chamfered copings. Listed for group value only.
