Gate piers, Glapwell Lane, Glapwell, an early 18th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 46 NE PARISH OF GLAPWELL GLAPWELL LANE 7/131 (North Side) Gatepiers at entrance to Glapwell Hall II Gatepiers. Early C18. Sandstone ashlar. Two gatepiers, square in plan. Channelled rustication. Plain unmoulded base, fluted frieze and moulded caps. The gatepiers mark an entrance to Glapwell Hall, demolished in the 1950s. Listing NGR: SK4799066208.' (1)
