Pear Tree Farm farmhouse, Glapwell Lane, Ault Hucknall, a 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 46 NE 7/5 PARISH OF AULT HUCKNALL GLAPWELL LANE, ROWTHORNE (West Side) Pear Tree Farmhouse II Farmhouse. C17, remodelled mid C19. Coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. Welsh slate roof has stone coped gables with moulded kneelers, and a ball finial to the east gable. Brick ridge and gable stacks. Two storeys. Remains of C17 lobby entrance plan, with blocked entrance against the stack. Off-centre C19 entrance. To the left a 3-light casement window under a plain stone lintel. Two similar windows to the right. Three similar windows above. The interior has a partially blocked inglenook, and a chimneypiece with plain stone lintel and jambs. Cupboards with arched raised and fielded panels. Listing NGR: SK4791865021.' (1)
