Full Description

No. 28 Market Place, Old Bolsover, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 4771 TOWN OF OLD BOLSOVER MARKET PLACE 16/76 (South Side) No 28 GV II House, now divided into two shops with accommodation above. Mid C18. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings. Welsh slate roof with brick gable stacks and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Angle quoins. Two storeys. The ground floor has a C19 shopfront and a C20 shopfront, either side of the C18 doorway with stone lintel and jambs. Three C19 sashes above, set in C18 ashlar surrounds. Listing NGR: SK4739570472.'
