Full Description

No. 39 High Street, Old Bolsover, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 4771 TOWN OF OLD BOLSOVER HIGH STREET 16/64 (South Side) 5.10.88 No 39 GV II House. Mid C18, altered C20. Coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings. Pantile roof with stone gable stacks and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two storeys. North elevation of three not quite symmetrical bays. Off- centre doorway with massive jambs and lintel. C20 panelled door. Flanked by C20 cross windows in painted ashlar surrounds. Three similar windows above. Listing NGR: SK4728370379.' (1)
