No. 40 Market Place, Old Bolsover, a 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: ' SK 4771 TOWN OF OLD BOLSOVER MARKET PLACE 16/74 (East Side) 23.3.79 No 40 GV II House and shop. C17, C18 and C19. Rubblestone, rendered brick, and sandstone dressings. Pantile roof with brick ridge stack and stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Two storeys. Three bay west elevation. Broad C20 shopfront. To the left is a cart entrance through the building. Three glazing bar sashes above. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK4734970470.' (1)
