Full Description

SK 182 826: Brough, Roman Bath House: Large quantities of Roman brick and tile were found during the construction of a weir on the River Noe at Brough. An unpublished excavation by Messrs Cockerton and Heathcote located a large, well-mortared building with an opus signinum floor, possibly a bath house. (1-3).
