War Memorial, The Green, Clowne, erected c1918. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 47 NE PARISH OF CLOWNE THE GREEN 1/111 (South Side) War Memorial II War memorial. c1918. Portland stone ashlar. Square base and plinth, surmounted by a tall tapering square pier with moulded top, inscribed with the names of those of the parish who gave their lives in the two World Wars. Surmounted by a life size sculpture of a First World War soldier in uniform. Listing NGR: SK4924375609 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register.
