Nos. 77-79 Strettea Lane, Shirland and Higham, a mid-18th century building.
From the National Heritage List for England:
'PARISH OF SHIRLAND & HIGHAM STRETTEA LANE 38/59 59 38/39 58 6/66 (South Side) 31-1-67 77 and 79, Higham II Pair of adjoining houses. Mid C18. Ashlar facade, coursed. sandstone rubble elsewhere. Gritstone dressings. Plain plinth, four full height, fluted, corner pilasters. Moulded eaves cornice projecting and dentilled over Pilasters and central archway. C20 concrete tile roof. Brick gable end stacks and two ridge stacks. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two storeys, three bays per house with central joining bay. No 77 to east has central moulded doorcase with dentilled pediment on scroll brackets. C20 glazed door. To either side, glazing bar sashes in moulded aedicule with fluted raised keystones. No 79 to west has flush quoined doorcase with broken segmental arched pediment on brackets. To either side, C20 casements in moulded aedicules with raised keystones. Above, two similar with blocked circular opening between. Central joining bay has full height fluted pilasters either side. Segmental arch below to passageway. Above semi-circular headed glazing bar sash with Gothic tracery in moulded aedicule with moulded imposts and keystone, To rear, flat arched passage doorcase with blocked transomed stair window over.
