Full Description

The Old Bell, Hathersage Bank Top, Hathersage, a late 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 23 81 PARISH OF HATHERSAGE BANK TOP 6/16 Outbuilding to the north east of the Old Bell House GV II Former farm outbuilding, now used by the church. Late C17, with later alterations. Coursed rubble gritstone with quoins, coped gables, moulded kneelers, and end ridge stack, Welsh slated roof. Two storeys, three bays, with C19 casements with glazing bars beneath plain lintel to first floor. Fixed light to central first floor window, and shutters to ground floor openings, which have shallow arched heads. Central doorway with massive lintel and jambs, and plain planked door.
