Full Description

House to northeast of Rock House, Church Bank, Hathersage, a late 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 23 81 PARISH OF HATHERSAGE CHURCH BANK (off) 6/20 House to the north east of Rock House GV II House. Late C17 with some later remodelling. Coursed rubble gritstone with quoins, moulded copings and kneelers to south gable, and end stone ridge stacks. Stone slated roof. 'L' plan. South elevation; two storeys, gabled front, with cross- wing to north, set back. Gable has four, 2-light flush mullioned windows, some : recently restored, with C20 pivot windows. Elsewhere, C20 joinery in flush stone frames. Doorway to west side wall. Listing NGR: SK2347481795.' (1)
