Full Description

Cliffe Cottage, Jaggers Lane, Hathersage, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 28 SW PARISH OF HATHERSAGE JAGGERS LANE 2/28 (North east Side) Cliffe Cottage II House. Early C19 incorporating earlier work. Coursed squared gritstone with quoins, coped gables with moulded kneelers, end ridge ashlar stacks with moulded caps,and a slate roof. 'L' plan, with rear wing lower and earlier than main range. South east elevation; two storeys, two bays with flush surrounds to window openings, which house C20 joinery. Central doorway with moulded jambs and lintel, and dripmould above. Six panelled door with rectangular overlight. Lower range has 2-light recessed chamfer mullioned openings and flush mullioned windows. Listing NGR: SK2284881536.' (1)
