Full Description

Lodge House, Chesterfield Road, Calow, an early 19th century building. From the National Herritage List for England: 'SK 47 SW 1/1 PARISH OF CALOW CHESTERFIELD ROAD (south side) Lodge House II Farmhouse. Early C19. Coursed sandstone with slate hipped roof. Two brick eaves stacks. Two storeys. North elevation of three bays. Central doorway with flush stone surround with projecting keystone and imposts. Six panelled, raised and fielded door with semi-circular fanlight above. Flanked on each side by glazing bar sashes. Three similar windows above. Rear elevation with C20 windows. Listing NGR: SK4167670894.' (1)
