Full Description

SK 1800 8330 - SK 1820 8300: Hope Station, Bank (AP mark). Cropmark of two parallel earthen banks, possibly part of a Roman road from Navio. (1,2) A low raised level surface was recorded during archaeological field survey. This has been suggested to be the course of a Roman road, and was originally plotted from an aerial photograph; the photograph shows it continuing to the west. (3)
