The Angler's Rest public house, The Old Stores, Tideswell, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 17 SW PARISH OF TIDESWELL MILLERS DALE 5/36 The 'Anglers Rest' public house II Formerly a house, now a public house. Mid-C18 coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, chamfered quoins, coped south west gable, stone gable ridge stack and slated roof. Two storeys, two bays, with flush mullioned 2-light windows with C20 joinery to ground floor openings and C19 sashes and fixed lights to first floors, all with glazing bars. Off-centre doorway with massive stone surround and dripmould above lintel. Plain C20 planked door. Listing NGR: SK1423873354.' (1)
