North Viaduct, Taddington, built in 1905. From the National Heritage List for England: '1. PARISHES OF WORMHILL AND TADDINGTON MILLERS DALE SK17 SW North Viaduct 2/80 II GV 2. This asset was subject to a minor amendment on 23/01/2015. The asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1109889. This entry was removed on 23/01/2015. Viaduct. 1905, built by the Midland Railway to cope with expanding traffic on the main London to Manchester Line. Rock faced gritstone with gritstone dressings to piers and abutments and to four west arches. Three steel spans to east of pratt girder construction. Two parallel girders to each span, braced together. Through section deck above, with lattice work parapet railings above. Four round-arched masonry spans to west with Staffordshire blue brick around the arches. Listing NGR: SK1397573229.' (1)
