Barns west of Rowlee Farmhouse, Snake Road, Hope Woodlands, a mid-19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 18 NE PARISH OF HOPE WOODLANDS SNAKE ROAD 14/22 (North Side) Barns to west of Rowlee Farmhouse GV II Barns. Mid C19. Coursed rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. East elevation. Central cart entrance flanked on each side by a window, a door and a window. Upper floor with three circular windows and eight ventilation slits. Single storey bay to the north. Recently much restored. Listing NGR: SK1533089340.' (1)
