No. 5 Knowleston Place, Matlock Town, built in 1772. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 15 September 2022 to amend the name and address, and reformat the text to current standards SK 3059 5/156 MATLOCK KNOWLESTON PLACE No 5 GV II Dated 17... (figures worn). A three-storeyed house of coursed stone rubble with ashlar dressings. Two two-light stone mullioned sash windows (single glazing bars) in plain surrounds; quoins at sides; ground storey has a square stone bay window at each side with ball-head finials at each corner; plain doorway recessed at centre with cornice hood. one-windowed bay on left-hand side with plaque dated 1772 has floor band and quoins at sides. Slates. Nos 5 to 15 (odd) form a group. Listing NGR: SK3011759864.' (1)
