No. 29 Derby Road, Aston upon Trent, originally a 16th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 42 NW PARISH OF ASTON-UPON-TRENT DERBY ROAD 4/1 (West Side) 11.9.75 No 29 Longcroft Farmhouse II Farmhouse, now house. C16 and C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Painted rendered brick with shallow plain tile roof, large brick ridge stack and one external rendered gable stack to south, also with stepped eaves band. Two storeys and three bays, L-plan. Gabled porch has segment headed doorcase, small windows to either side, brick dentilled eaves, and C20 glazed panelled door behind. To south is a 4-light flat headed casement window and to north there are two similar windows, that to far north set considerably lower down. Above there are three similar windows, that to far north also lower than the other two. Rear wing at right angles has two C19 flat headed 2-light casements with gabled brick porch to east and two similar windows above. Interior has remains of one cruck truss cut off at first floor level in rear wing and a square panel timber partition to north side of hall in front range, also north room has an inglenook fireplace.
