Chest tomb north of All Saints Church, Shardlow Road, Aston upon Trent, erected c1726. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 42 NW 4/7 PARISH OF ASTON-UPON-TRENT SHARDLOW ROAD (west side) Chest Tomb 5 metres north of south porch to All Saints Church GV II Chest tomb. c1726. Stone. Single chest tomb on wide plinth with plain base and raised and fielded panels to north, west and east sides, that to west with inserted slate plaque. Southern side has a long inscription to Thomas Holden, who died in 1726. Western plaque is to Arthur Shuttleworth Holden, who died in 1856. Above there is a deep slab with moulded sides and chamfered top. Listing NGR: SK4148329367.' (1)
