Full Description

Stoke View, Spooner Lane, Froggatt, a mid 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 27 NW PARISH OF FROGGATT SPOONER LANE 1/18 Stoke View GV II Cottage. Mid-C18, altered C20. Coursed rubble gritstone with plain gables, ashlar ridge stacks and stone slated roof. T-plan. Two storeys, three bays, with 2-light flush mullioned windows with C19 casements, the openings enlarged in C20. Central first floor opening a single light with a flush frame. Central doorway with massive stone surround and C20 glazed door. Gable to south end has single and 2-light openings, all with flush surrounds, the 2-light openings, one of which is blocked, with flush mullions. Listing NGR: SK2434176315.' (1)
