Overstones Farm farmhouse, Hathersage, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 28 SW PARISH OF HATHERSAGE 2/50 Overstones Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed rubble gritstone with projecting quoins, coped gables, boldly projecting moulded eaves cornice and end ridge stacks, that to the east end ashlar. Stone slated roof. Double pile plan. South elevation; two storeys, two bays with 3-light flush mullioned windows with projecting surrounds, their heads linked by two continuous flat band courses. C20 joinery to windows. Central doorway with moulded stone surround with central keystone and a pulvinated frieze, and console brackets supporting a substantial moulded hood. C20 door. East and north elevations both have transomed stair windows in flush stone frames. Listing NGR: SK2484382883.' (1)
