Lode Mill Bridge, The Pinch, Newton Grange, an 18th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 15 NW ALSTONEFIELD C.P. LODE LANE 5/34 Lode Mill Bridge 22.10.52. G.V. II This asset was subject to a minor amendment on 23/01/2015. This asset was previously listed twice also under List entry 1109323. This entry was removed from the List on 23/01/2015. Bridge. C18. Coursed limestone rubble with gritstone ashlar coping to parapet. Single semi-elliptical arch spanning the River Dove; parapet rises to a point in the centre, terminated at each end by square piers with pyramidal caps. Listing NGR: SK1459255079.' (1)
