Corner Cottage and Willow Cottage, School Lane, Baslow and Bubnell, possibly originally a 17th century or 18th and early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF BASLOW & BUBNELL SCHOOL LANE SK 27 SE 3/26 (South Side) 12.7.67 Corner Cottage and Willow Cottage (formerly listed as pair of cottages opposite Prince of Wales Inn) II Pair of cottages, formerly shop and cottage. Possibly C17, C18 and early C19. Coursed squared sandstone and ashlar. Stone slate roof and coped gables with plain kneelers. Ashlar ridge and gable stacks. Two storeys. South west elevation of five bays. Corner cottage to the left is of three bays. Central doorway with segmental pointed arch and ashlar surround. Panelled door. To the right a C19 shop window of six by three panes, flanked by wooden pilasters and cornice. To the left a recessed and chamfered cross window. Three similar but smaller windows above. Willow cottage to the right has a doorway with stone lintel and jambs and bracketed stone hood. C20 glazed door. To the right a 2-light square section flush mullion window. A similar 2-light and single light window above. Listing NGR: SK2528872369.' (1)
