Full Description

A throned male figure minus head, hands and legs, was reputedly found near the entrance to the Woodhead tunnel according to the finder, who donated the head to the Manchester Museum Collection in 1986. The male figure's sexual potency is illustrated. On the reverse are three simple and small Celtic heads. The number 3 (three heads) conveys additional magical potency. There is possible hatching on the sides of the throne. Approximate findspot SK113999(?). For parallels, see sources 2 and 3. (1)
