PARISH OF BASLOW & BUBNELL GORSEBANK LANE (West Side) Greystone Cottage

Cottage. C17, C18 and C19. Coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. Welsh slate roof with stone gable stacks. Two storeys. South east elevation of three bays. Off-centre doorway with stone lintel and jambs. Stable type doors. To the left a two-light square section flush mullion window. To the right a glazing bar sash in ashlar surround. To the right again a blocked doorway with a fixed pane window set in. The first floor has a two-light and a three-light recessed and chamfered mullion window. The roof is of two bays divided by a tie-beam supported by curved principals.
