Former office of Sharpe Brothers, West Street, Swadlincote, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 19/02/2020 SK 2919 5/25 WEST STREET (south side) Former offices of Sharpe Brothers and Co Ltd (Formerly listed as Offices of Sharpe Brothers & Co Ltd) GV II Early C19. Probably the former manager's house of adjacent former pottery (part now premises of Sharpes Pottery Museum (qv)). Red brick, hipped slate roof. L-shaped plan. Two storeys, one window on street elevation, three light sashes with glazing bars, side elevation also has glazing bar sashes. Two doors with tripartite fanlights, the back range is later and house probably re-roofed and window lintels altered when this range was added. Listing NGR: SK2986119583.' (1)
