Full Description

Ruin of folly, Bowden Lane, Chapel en le Frith, a late 19th century structure. The folly is shown on the 1st edition 25" OS map of c1880, where although unlabelled, appears to relate to the grounds of Stodhart Lodge. It continues to be shown on the 2nd and 3rd editions, where it is also unlabelled. The ruin was subject to an act of vandalism in 2025. (1)
