West Lodge, Locko Park, Dale Abbey, built c1860. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF DALE ABBEY LOCKO ROAD SK 43 NW 5/21 (North Side) West Lodge at Locko Park II Lodge. Probably c1860 by Henry Stevens. Italianate style. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof and an ashlar ridge stack. Pedimented east elevation. Recessed centre bay with two steps up to a doorway with moulded surround and panelled door. The flanking bays have two Tuscan Doric pilasters on each side. Entablature above, and in the pediment a small window with basket arch and key and impost blocks. The south elevation has two single bar sashes set in a moulded architraves. One similar window to the north and a lean-to extension not of special interest. Listing NGR: SK4105938723.' (1)
