No. 6 The Croft, Morley, a 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF MORLEY OFF BRACKLEY GATE SK 34 SE 1/76 (South Side) Nos 5 & 6 The Croft II Pair of cottages. C17, altered C19. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof. Central brick stack and brick gable stack. T-plan. Two storeys. East elevation of two bays. Blocked 3-light chamfered mullion window with hoodmould. To the right a doorway with Tudor arch and moulded stone surround. C19 door. The doorway is enclosed within a lean-to conservatory. To the right again a 2-light casement window, formerly with a mullion, with chamfered stone surround. Similar window above, and above to the left, a blocked 2-light chamfered mullion window. Two bay south elevation has a projecting gabled bay to right, with a 2-light casement window to each floor with stone lintels, sills and jambs. The lower window with a hoodmould. The left hand bay has two similar windows and a Tudor arched doorway with chamfered surround and C20 door. The interior has exposed beams. Listing NGR: SK3912342439.' (1)
