Full Description

Moor Farm farmhouse, Morley Road, Morley, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF MORLEY OFF MORLEY ROAD SK 34 SE 1/89 (West Side) Morleymoor Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Mid-C18 and 1823. Brick and gritstone. Plain tile roof with brick gable stacks, external to north. Two storeys. Stone plinth, first floor sill band and moulded stone eaves band. Symmetrical three-bay east elevation. Central moulded stone doorcase with fluted pilasters and a pediment. C20 glazed door and overlight. Flanked on each side by French windows with rectangular overlights, under channelled wedge stone lintels. The first floor has three single bar sashes under channelled wedge stone lintels. The window lintels and doorcase are painted. Inside is an early C19 open string stick baluster staircase around a square well. Wreathed handrail. Listing NGR: SK3906242245.' (1)
