Garden wall of Wye Cottage and Granby Cottage, Water Street, Bakewell, an 18th or 19th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'BAKEWELL SK2168 WATER STREET 831-1/4/181 (North side) 20/05/74 Garden Wall at Wye Cottage and Granby Cottage GV II Garden Wall. C18 or C19. Rubble limestone with sandstone copings. Low curved wall to end gable of Granby Cottage. Taller section lines Water Street and has 2 quoined openings and section with flat copings which sweeps over gated entrance and returns to enclose yard. Forms an important part of the garden setting of Wye Cottage and Granby Cottage (qv). Listing NGR: SK2183968502.' (1)
