Facing to bridge over Mill Stream at Lumford Mill, Bakewell, probably of late 18th century date. From the National Heritage List for England: 'BAKEWELL SK2169 BUXTON ROAD 831-1/3/56 (North side) Facing to Bridge over Mill Stream at Lumford Mill GV II Facing to bridge. Probably late C18. Dressed and ashlar sandstone. An obtuse angled wall with 2 segmental arches having raised keystones. Band beneath parapet of 3 courses of ashlar. Spans the tail race of Lumford Mill (qv); the waters pass beneath the mill yard to emerge at this bridge. Associated with Scheduled Ancient Monument, Derbyshire County Number 12010.
