Garden wall and gate pier to The Limes, North Church Street, Bakewell, an early 19th century construction. From the National Heritage List for England: 'BAKEWELL SK2168 NORTH CHURCH STREET 831-1/4/150 (North side) 20/05/74 Garden Wall and Gate Posts at The Limes GV II Garden wall and gate posts. Early C19. Deeply-coursed dressed sandstone with ashlar copings and piers. A plain wall interrupted by steps at the front door of The Limes (qv). Rectangular-sectioned gate piers with rounded tops. Forms part of the setting to The Limes (qv). Listing NGR: SK2157868516.' (1)
