Terrace of 6 houses. Early-mid C19. Herringbone-punched deeply-coursed sandstone; limestone rubble to rear; stone slate roofs. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, total of 17 windows to first floor. Nos 1 to 4 form a nearly symmetrical composition whilst Nos 5 and 6 differ. Ashlar door and window surrounds with hoodmoulds; projecting stone window sills to mostly 8/8 sashes. Moulded 6-panel doors with 2 upper panels glazed. Eaves band. Ashlar stacks: No.3 with diagonally-set twin flues with bands; the rest have square or rectangular groups of flues with bands and cornices. No.1 has paired sashes to left of door and an end stack. No.5 with triple and paired plain sashes beneath 3 plain sashes. No.6 (Wye Bank): more elaborate doorcase with stone hood on quatrefoil-pierced brackets; 8/8 sashes. Single-storey canted-bay window on left return; rear wing with various sashes and truncated end stack. INTERIOR: not inspected.
