Full Description

Outbuilding southwest of Eyam Hall, Church Street, Eyam, a late 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 21 76 PARISH OF EYAM CHURCH STREET 6/36 (North Side) 12-7-67 Outbuilding to SW of Eyam Hall GV II Outbuilding. Late C17. Coursed limestone and gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings and large quoins. Stone slate roof. Moulded stone copings and kneelers to gable ends. Two storeys, two bays. Central flush quoined doorcase with moulded inner edge. Large lintel with hoodmould. Plank door. To either side, 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows with hoodmoulds. Above, two similar 2-light windows with C18 leaded lights. To south, steps and coped side wall attached to corner of building up to first floor door in south gable wall. Doorcase similar to that on east facade. Listing NGR: SK2162876482.' (1)
