Pear Tree Farm farmhouse, Derby Road, Tupton, built in 1677. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 36 NE TOWN OF CLAY CROSS DERBY ROAD 1/24 (East Side) Pear Tree Farmhouse II Farmhouse. 1677 with C19 alterations. Coursed sandstone rubble. Gritstone dressings and quoins. C19 slate roof with overhanging eaves. Rendered gable end stacks. Two storeys, two bays. Two 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows. Central door removed, Above, two C20 casement windows, in recessed and chamfered surrounds. North gable wall has two recessed and chamfered single light windows below. Two similar over. Plaque in gable inscribed 'BAM 1677'. Listing NGR: SK3895065049.' (1)
