Full Description

The Hall, Marston Lane, Marston on Dove, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 22 NW PARISH OF MARSTON ON DOVE MARSTON LANE 4/33 (East Side) 2.9.52 The Hall (formerly listed as Marston Hall) II Small country house. Late C18, 1837 and 1887. Brick, mostly cement rendered. First floor sill band. Hipped Welsh slate roofs with six ridge stacks. 1837 part to south probably a three by three bay block added to an existing C18 house. Considerable extensions to west in a similar style in 1887. Two storeys, irregular plan. Seven bay west elevation, 2-2-3, with centre two bays advanced. French doors with glazed overlight in third bay from the right, otherwise six glazing bar sashes and seven similar windows above. Most with louvred shutters. Three bay south elevation.
