No. 8 The Settlement, Ockbrook, built c1820.
From the National Heritage List for England:
'PARISH OF OCKBROOK THE SETTLEMENT SK 42 36 6/73 (North Side) No 8 GV II
House, now part of school. c1820. Built as part of the Moravian Settlement. Red brick with painted stone dressings and slate roof with brick ridge stacks and a plain eaves band. Three storeys and three bays. South front has two glazing bar sashes below slightly arched, rusticated wedge lintels with double keystones to west and a similar blocked window to east, now partly filled by a C20 casement. Above there are three more glazing bar sashes below similar lintels, and above again there are three smaller, similar sashes. The doorcase is on the narrow east elevation, where this building abuts on to the Old Manse. It has a flight of stone steps with iron railings and a wreathed handrail to the front and a lattice work porch over the pilastered doorcase with glazed panelled door. Included for group value only.
