The Poplars, Repton Road, Newton Solney, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF NEWTON SOLNEY REPTON ROAD SK 22 NE 1/65 (South Side) The Poplars II Farmhouse. Late C18. Red brick, plain tile roof with gable stacks and brick coped gables with plain kneelers. Dentil eaves cornice. Two storeys. L-plan. East elevation of three bays has central ashlar porch from 'Cliff House', C19, with arched panels to the sides, moulded cornice and acroteria. C20 panelled door. Flanked by 3-light casements under wedge brick lintels. Two similar windows above, either side of a blind segment headed window. Segment headed window to north of 3-lights. C20 single storey range to south not of special interest. Listing NGR: SK2853825814.' (1)
