The Brickmakers Arms, Main Street, Newton Solney, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF NEWTON SOLNEY MAIN STREET SK 22 NE 1/55 (South Side) Brickmakers Arms GV II Public house. Early C19. Painted brick with plain tile roof with brick ridge and gable stacks. Dentil eaves cornice. Two storeys. North elevation of four bays, the left hand bay a later addition. Three steps up to off-centre doorway with C19 doorcase and door. To the right is an unequal 3-light segment headed casement window. Two similar windows to left, the outer one, one pane broader. The first floor has a 2-light casement over the door and three windows matching those below, but all with flat arches. Listing NGR: SK2812725614.' (1)
