Statue of Sir FH Royce, Victory Road, Derby, built c1921, moved to this location in 1990. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 27 April 2022 to update the name and address and to reformat the text to current standards SK 3536 5/231 VICTORY ROAD Statue of Sir F H Royce (Formerly listed as RIVERSIDE GARDENS Statue of Sir F H Royce) II Conventional bronze statue of the pioneer of the motor car and partner of C S Rolls. Stands on a stone pedestal base and is the work of Derwent Wood R A, 1921. Installed in the Arboretum in 1923, moved to the Riverside Gardens in 1972, and to Victory Road in 1990. Listing NGR: SK 36228 32376.' (1)
