No. 3 St Mary's Gate, Derby, an early or mid-19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'ST MARY'S GATE 1. 5170 (North Side) No 3 SK 3536 SW 1/241 SK 3536 NW 2/241 II 2. Early-mid C19. Red brick with stone dressings; 2 storeys; centre (one window) slightly projects; 2 sash windows at each side, and all in moulded stone architraves; centre window has panelled apron; 1st storey windows only retain glazing bars; floor band; stone plinth; doorway in moulded stone pilaster surround; rectangular fanlight; cornice hood on consoles and 6-flush-panelled divided door; sill band to ground storey windows; plain frieze, dentilled eaves cornice, blocking course.
